heelllllo meadow :D

I was addressing my blog background! sighhh. It exudes such a relaxing feeling on me, does it to you? :) I hope so! While I'm typing this i suddenly wish, instead of this ugly-white-peach thing that we have to type on, I wish we can type ON our blog layouts itself, geddit? so I can type all this while looking at my sunset meadow. For now, however, I'll just have to keep going to the next tab that has my background ahahaha.

WELL I wrote today's date, which is a pretty big gap from the previous post, January 20th. Seven days gap- three days spent on Chinese New Year (have you noticed on TV they've started calling it Lunar New Year? surely not because they think its racist?), one day spent on resting, one day spent on making this blog and typing the oober-long first post, another day before CNY which I have no friggin idea what i did LOL, and of course, today. So I'll just make a small recap of the three days of CNY and then move on with today :D

Chinese  Lunar  Chinese New Year

Things were the same, but thats a goog thing :D Celebrations the same. Had the traditional-steamboat-reunion-dinner (oh hell enough already LOOL) Ang pows.....yeah. got'em. AHAHA ah shucks. I always sorta hope that one year I'll get more, but it has always been roughly the same amount. *shrug..

Oh one other thing. This year my cousin-sister sent my family a CNY card :D. I know, no biggie, but for the first time i felt just a teeny weeny teensy bitty twang of guilt because my family doesn't do that. Send cards. :/ Nor reply them, either. BUT. I was really heart-warmed by this gesture from my cousin-sister, (because we're not really that close) so I've decided, starting from now on, whenever there's a festival or whatever I will send all my cousins and their families cards! And yeah reply theirs if they send too. Cuz I was thinking, one day we're all gonna grow up, and when I'm grown up I wanna go around visiting my cousins with my brother so yeah its good to make that family-relationship-connection stronger...so that, uh, it won't be so awkward years later. But yeah, visit all those long lost or long forgotten or long-no-see people of the family. It'll be pretty cool, hmm? Like one day you step in to this dudes house and say: "WHASSSUP BROOO. GUESS WHAT? I'M YOUR MOTHER'S BROTHER-IN LAW'S STEPSISTER'S SECOND COUSIN'S NIECE'S GREAT-GRANDFATHER! call me John."

Thatsorta jig. :D But yeah well thats about it that I can remember.. As for today..

Today
Walked a loooooong way to SS2 to see if there's a job vacancy at this christian bookshop. There is, but turns out that the office was closed so I'll have to go back on Monday. Then I took a walk around the area to check other shops for other jobs, and while there are a few, I'm not really interested.

Partly because I just really really want to work in a bookshop. Even better, a christian bookshop. The environment is just...you know. Ineffable. Being around books. :)
And...I've always wanted to sorta get to know the books there at a bookshop if I'm working there, so if someone needs help finding a book I can find the book that they want for them. :) It's just..I don't really know how to explain it but.. to give someone a book that they need, for me that is pretty amazing. :) If the book helps them with their lives (It probably would!), I feel that I am, like, you know, touching their lives. Instrument of God.

But LOL one thing. The office was closed, but the bookstore was open. So when I went in I was suddenly hit by a barrage of christian music. And unfortunately, I didn't like them at all :/ ahahaha. It was...too thick. Too heavy. I don't know! It felt....argh. I feel kinda bad for not liking them, cuz they're worship songs.. Well I hope if I get to work there, they don't play that kind of worship songs too much :P

what am i saying. I WILL get to like them! ahahahaha
