Scene of the day
SST: You know, guys, I really think that you guys come up and say the most RIDICULOUS
THINGS. And I just don't get it, you know?
SST: Like you know, that day, this student was like.... OHH EMMM GEEE. But I was thinking,
WHY CAN'T YOU JUST SAY OH MY GOD? I mean, *counts on fingers* Oh Em Gee. Oh
My God. Both of them have the same syllables!
SST: And so there was this time when the projector just wasn't working lah,
and then this person goes: "Haih, miss, face problem."
okaynowiknowwhatfaceproblemmeans but !?!?!
SST: And this other day, I was telling the students in class a joke. And then there's this one that
went: "Hahaha. Lol." !?!??! He said the word "LOL". And I'm like, WHY CAN'T YOU, you
know, JUST LAUGH OUT LOUD?. I mean, LAUGH. The action. Not say "lol"??
SST: And then there's another one that went: "Hahahaha rofl." (pronounced roff-fle) And I was
telling her: go on then, roll on the floor. Go on.
SST: LIKE SERIOUSLY. Do you know what you guys are doing? You guys are actually substituting
ACTIONS, for WORDS. ....*shakes head*
